Dan Caruana Mansueto
Achieving his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sport, Exercise and Health degree from MCAST, Dan has been involved in the fitness sector for the last 6 years, with a specific interest in gym instructing, personal training and lifestyle coaching. Always keen to expand his knowledge, he continuously seeks up-to-date research, assisting his planning for exercises and activities according to his client’s needs as well as for his own personal athletic development.
His background includes working with all skill levels and individuals of various ages in a variety of settings. His passion lies towards the art of displacement; famously known as Parkour, or Free running. With over 10 years of experience in the discipline, he has obtained a fine set of skills which allow him to manoeuvre over urban structures with acrobatic movements. Being a demanding discipline, experimentation with various methods of exercise such as calisthenics, weightlifting and Parkour specific drills, result in an alteration of body physiology and mechanics, making bodyweight and functional movement training his specialization. He believes discipline and hard work, when combined with proper form and technique, are the fundamental keys to achieving longevity and building a healthy well-rounded athletic body.
As stated by the brilliant Martin Luther King, Jr,
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
